As I am writing this, Oscar is probably being processed in the Animal Resource Center in London. He will be arriving in Aberdeen tonight at 7:20 (1:20 US time) and we cannot wait for him to get here. I am so excited that today is the day! It seems like we have been without our babies for years, not just months. It will feel like another eternity until Grace joins us too, but at least Oscar will provide us a good distraction. I know it sounds silly, but I didn't sleep well last night because I was nervous and excited all the same. I was like a kid the night before Christmas. Anyhow, I will keep everyone posted on his safe arrival to Aberdeen.
Ian informed me yesterday that he has to go out of town again next week. This time he is going to FRANKLIN, TN! What???? Of course two days after our dog gets here Ian is flying back home for some business meetings. Had it been one week earlier I could have gone with him. Oh well . . . we will be home for Thanksgiving, so not too much longer until I get to see all of your beautiful faces!
